The Hit or Miss List - Monday Edition

From time to time – most likely on Mondays, because my brain is still fluffy from the weekend – I will share with you the top 5 things that surprise, delight or satisfy me at that moment in time, balanced (of course!) by the things that annoy, startle or shock me.

I realize that not everyone will appreciate or agree with my choices, but at least I have opinions!
So, without further ado, let’s hear the drum roll, please, for this week’s Hit List:

1.       Gabby Gifford’s “Profiles in Courage” award from the Kennedy Library.  Inspiring.

2.       A new episode of Nashville this Wednesday (season cliffhanger?) Hooray for Rayna and Deacon finally getting their act together as a couple – but will their relationship survive the next 43 minute episode?

3.       My annual review. Another one down, one more to go?

4.       Jane from Jamestown.  Bringing history to life, even if that history is, well, icky.

5.       Mother’s Day.  Every day.

And now, today's Miss List:

1.      Sarah Palin at the NRA Convention. No need to editorialize.

2.      "Plain Jane" from Jamestown.  Couldn't they have made her a little more...appetizing??

3.      Iron Man. PUHLEESE.

4.       “Top Gear” on BBC America.  Great show, but not on 24/7 rotation courtesy of DVR.

5.       VA Attorney General Bob Cuccinelli’s effort to “boost his image with women” with a radio campaign worthy of a Goebbel’s Award for Truth in Political Advertising!  Way to go, Bob!

Until tomorrow.
